Hollywood Fire Department chose Door Engineering’s hurricane rated Four-Fold Door system as it is one of the only fully glazed apparatus bay doors systems designed, tested and approved for Florida Building Code.

The doors are designed to withstand wind speeds in excess of 160mph (65psf) and feature 9/16” impacted rated glass. Not only do the doors meet the extreme requirements, they also let more natural light into the apparatus bay, creating a brighter work environment for the firemen and reducing energy cost.
